About Me
An advocate for simple and sustainable living, beekeeper and mother of five, I enjoy life with my Worimi husband and youngest child, our family calling the Wonnarua wine growing region of the Hunter Valley home.
From historical to contemporary and young adult offerings and with five published novels, my debut translated into Czech, I’m a contributor to numerous short story anthologies. Bright Flickering Lights was a winning manuscript with the Australian Society of Authors in 2024 and was shortlisted for the inaugural Spiers Prize in 2025.
From milking cows and making cheese to rearing border collies, I’m a long-time hand-spinner who enjoys creating bespoke yarns at the wheel. If not, I’m endeavouring to spin words into gold. Because, for as long as I can recall, I’ve been wrapped in the arms of stories.
